Independent Learning Center

The Woodland Joint Unified School District Independent Learning Center is an independent study program offered to students from Pioneer High School, Woodland High School or Cache Creek High School. ILC students have an individualized course of work developed to meet their particular needs. Classes meet the requirements for graduation and are comparable to those offered at the traditional schools, featuring a high level of rigor and a consistent assessment of learning. Therefore, ILC classes also qualify the student for attendance at four-year universities.

This program is for students from 9th to 12th grade who are referred by their school counselor. The ultimate goal for every ILC student is to meet the graduation requirements of their high school, earning a diploma or the equivalent.
