Pioneer awarded a Lowe’s grant for landscaping projects

Pioneer High School's PTA has been awarded a $4,600 Toolbox for Education grant from Lowe's Charitable and Educational foundation. The grant money will go toward reconstructing landscape areas into welcoming gardens with a painted or tiled mural behind the new construction. The Landscape Design classes and the Art Department will work together to use the grant funds to beautify the campus. Help recognize and support student achievement at PHS

Donations are needed for incentives and raffle prizes for the upcoming Student Achievement Awards Assembly. You can help by providing something from the list below by February 1. Student waiver for the Great Patriot Race

Please join us on Saturday, March 20, for the 1st annual PHS Fun Run! This fundraiser will benefit the Pioneer Band, Choir, Cross Country and Track Field teams. There is a 5K and a 1 mile option. About 50 students participated at Pioneer High School in the 2009 National PTA Art Reflections program. Students created works in literature, photography and visual arts in response to this year’s theme, “Beauty is”. Community members and Pioneer High School staff, teachers and students also contributed their time to help judge student entries and to create a successful program at PHS.
