Dear Pioneer High School School Parents,
In our continuing efforts to improve communication between our schools and parents, our district will be piloting new online gradebook and communication tools that are integrated with our student information system. It will allow parents just-in-time viewing and information about student assignments, test scores, and progress, and will allow you to better manage your personal contact preferences. Our district is confident that these new tools will strengthen our home-school partnership.
The following teachers at Pioneer High School will be participating in this semester's pilot program. They may choose to pilot the new program with all of their classes or only with some of them.
In early January, if your child is enrolled in one of the classes participating in the pilot, you will receive a letter with the information you will need to sign up for your Portal account. You also will have the opportunity to attend a training that will explain how to log into and use the Aeries Parent Portal.
On the WJUSD webpage at www.wjusd.org/aeries, videos and information will be available for parents who need support in setting up accounts. If you’re having problems creating your Aeries Parent account, contact your school office. If problems persist, contact Janet Garcia at (530) 406-3259 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please consider attending a workshop to learn how to use the Parent Portal:
• At Woodland High School, January 17, 9 am in Computer Lab D
• At Pioneer High School, January 18, 2 pm in Computer Lab H111
• At the WJUSD District Office, January 17, 5:30 pm in the District Office Training Center
If you will attend a training, please rsvp to Yolanda Rodriguez at (530) 406-3253. Additional follow-up training meetings will be scheduled as needed.
Can't attend a training, but you still would like to sign up for Aeries ?
